We are taught from an early age that we are thinking creatures that feel. The truth is that we are feeling creatures that think. The power of telling your story can be your greatest differentiator in business and will prove to be one of your smartest communication strategies. It stands to reason that connecting to your customer on a deeper level is a winning approach. It’s also a refreshing one!
What makes Diane’s approach particularly valuable is that she not only believes in “finding your story” but she also offers practical ways to apply it. The perfect blend of inner work with outer application.
I am excited to share my conversation with Diane Currie Sam about story telling and it’s value with the Creative Warriors community. I believe that revealing who we are and what the story is behind the businesses we create is very valuable and yet another way in which being in business with a sense of purpose is different than a typical business.
Diane is an award-winning course developer, educator and family therapist. She is a ‘story geek’ and a self-professed “techie,” having launched her career as the founder and developer of two successful Canadian Internet/technology firms.
