Let’s face it. We all fall emotionally, spiritually or financially at one time or another. When we focus on our landing instead of the fall we get the opportunity to start our journey in a different way. Much of success in business and in life is about resilience and recovery.
Focusing more on firmly landing on our feet allows us to constructively move forward and also gain the ability to handle whatever life throws our way.
I recently had the opportunity to speak with Margot Micallef and Warren Broad, the co-authors of “It’s The Landing That Counts– Finding Peace, Happiness and Prosperity When Your Life Falls Apart”. I will tell you, this books really lives up to it’s promise. I came across the book and thought, “who doesn’t need that?” I knew I needed to hear more so I contacted them and they offer some terrific insights in this interview. They are both well versed in getting knocked down and have written this book and developed a free mini-course to help others embrace a process that has personally worked for them and many others.
Warren and Margot have fairly extensive bios that you can read about here. What I really want to highlight is what genuine individuals they are to completely put their vulnerability’s on public display to offer others a solution to a very real phenomenon we all face – falling down and recovery. Their content is very enlightening, powerful and useful. I believe this work offers anyone who has suffered from loss of any kind a great springboard toward future success.
